Payment Options
Your credit card is billed when you place your order and you MUST print a receipt when you have completed your order. No receipt will be mailed to you because we do not have access to your www.currentsgifts.com account, nor do we ever have access to your credit card information. All of your credit card information is processed directly by you and our credit card processing company to ensure complete security.

Taxes
Orders being shipped to Massachusetts addresses are required to pay a 6.25% sales tax on taxable merchandise. This tax will be included in your total when you checkout.
Security
This Web site takes every precaution to protect our users' information.
When you send sensitive information (such as your credit card number) to us via our order form that information is encrypted and protected with SSL, the current industry-standard encryption protocol. When you are on such an SSL-protected page, a picture of a closed lock appears at the bottom or top of some Web browsers. At other times this lock appears open. Another way to tell if you are on a secure page is to look at the address or URL of the page. (Look in the address box or right-click on the page and select "Properties".) These secure SSL-encrypted pages have URL's that start with https:// instead of http://.
Personalized & Special Order Items
Certain items or quantity of items are special order products and are subject to separate return and cancellation policy. You will be advised of any product subject to this policy.
We must enforce this policy because either we do not stock that specific item or possibly the quantity of item that was ordered. Also, this policy applies to any item that is personalized with embroidery. These special order items are ordered or personalized on a per-customer basis. Although these items can take 2–6 weeks for delivery, we must charge the customer's credit card at the time an order is placed with us.
All returns and cancellations for non-personalized special orders are subject to a 30% special order restocking fee. Personalized special orders are non-returnable, non-exchangeable and cannot be cancelled once an order has been placed with our store. Shipping Policy
Our orders are shipped using United States Postal Service (USPS). When placing an order you must provide us with your complete address that you can receive Postal Mail in the Shipping Information section of the checkout form.
Shipping Fees
Shipping charges that must be applied for gift items that are not included in the Free Shipping that we offer to our jewelry customers, we will give you an estimate of the shipping charges. In cases where the actual shipping cost is more than the amount quoted at the time of your order, you will be contacted with the actual shipping cost before your order is shipped. At this time you will have the option of either confirming or canceling your order.
Free Shipping
We offer free First Class USPS shipping on most jewelry orders. Certain jewelry or other items that do not qualify for free shipping will be charged the standard First Class shipping rate. If you request a faster delivery option you will be billed for the expidited service for USPS Priority (2-3 day) or USPS Express Delivery (1-2 day).
Delivery Time
Orders are generally shipped within 24–72 hours from the receipt of your order and payment. Orders received after 2:00 PM EST may be processed the next business day. We will make every effort to ship rush orders by the next business day.
Orders for custom or special-order products may require additional lead time and orders containing out-of-stock items will be shipped when the entire contents of your order is available. You will be contacted with an approximate ship date in these cases.
We do not ship to Canada or outside of the United States.
Returns & Exchanges
Sometimes returns or exchanges for items that you purchase from us are necessary. That's why we make it easy for you. If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact us within 5 days of receipt of your order to arrange a return.
Please understand that we can only accept items for return or exchange that are in their original condition. On ALL orders which we have offered free shipping there will be a $5.00 Re-stocking charge to cover the free shipping and processing fees that Currents Gifts has incurred in processing your order. Orders Over $200.00 are subject to a $20.00 re-inventory fee.
All returns require prior approval; we will refuse to accept any items returned to us without prior approval. The cost of returning items to us is the responsibility of the customer. Returned items must be received 14 days after notifying us of the return or they will not be eligible for a refund. We will refund 100% (Minus Re-Stocking Fee) of the purchase price of the returned items only. Shipping costs are not refundable. Return shipping costs for the replacement items are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is received damaged or defective (see Damaged or Defective Items), or unless the wrong item was originally received. Any items that were special ordered (large quantities of a specific item or an item that we do not stock) are subject to a 30% restocking fee.
For exchanges, the same rules as above apply. The customer is responsible for delivery charges to return the item to Currents Gifts as well as a shipping/handling/restocking fee. In most cases, the exchanges pertain to jewelry that was originally shipped to the customer for free. In the case of a jewelry exchange, the customer pays the return shipping charges + $5.00 to ship a new item out and restock the incorrect item. All other exchanges may result in a different shipping/handling/restocking fee.
Returns may take up to 14 days to process. We will credit your credit card or issue a refund check for the amount of the refund if you contact us within 5 days of receiving your item AND we receive your item back to us within 10 days of the date you received your item. We will issue a store credit/gift card if we receive your item after 10 days from the date you received it. We will also issue a store credit/gift card if the item being returned was a gift and is not being returned by the original purchaser. The lowest sale price will be given on items that are being returned without a receipt.
Canceling Or Changing an Order
If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We are generally able to make changes to orders as long as they have not been shipped. However, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to change or cancel any order after it has been placed. Please be sure to include your order number in any change or cancellation requests.
Damaged & Defective Items
Nothing is more annoying than receiving an order that was damaged during shipping or an item that doesn't work. We strive to inspect each item prior to shipping an order. If an item arrives at your door damaged, broken, or defective, we will either replace the broken parts if possible, ship out a completely new item at our expense, or refund the cost of your order. Simply contact us within 5 days of receipt of your order and we will do everything possible to make sure you receive a replacement or refund as soon as possible. Please provide a phone number or email address where we may get in touch with you when you contact us. If your items were damaged in shipping, please make sure you keep the damaged items in the original packing materials and box in case an inspection is necessary by the shipper.
Privacy Policy
Currents Gifts does not sell or share email addresses or other customer information with other companies. We read every email we receive and we encourage you to email us with your questions or comments.
We do not contribute to or participate in shared or cooperative databases, which give other companies access to your personal information. We do not release credit card or financial information for use by other companies. For privacy purposes, all information relating to our customers is stored on a highly secure server.
